Happiest Days Of Our Lives

THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF OUR LIVES
FACTS/COMMENTS

Concept: Another brick in Pink's wall were his school days. Specifically, this song is a criticism of certain teachers who instruct schoolchildren to do as they are told, while never encouraging them to discover their individual interests. Roger Waters indicated that the storyline came from his own experience where he and his school friends had a running joke that the teacher took his abuse out on the students because his wife must be treating him worse.
