Concept:
Although the exploited masses appear to be passive sheep grazing peacefully,
they will rise up and revolt against the dogs and sheep. David
Gilmour: I think there's lots of hidden or dry humour in thing we've done.
Half of it is absolutely there, like the 'Lord's Prayer' bit on 'Sheep',
but people take our lyrics so seriously that they don't see it. Comment:
The prayer actually parodies the 23rd Psalm. Comment:
'Raving and Drooling' was the title to this song before the album 'Animals'
was released. In concert, some variations were made to the lyrics.
