Concept:
A look at a Pink Floyd concert, prior to revealing the bricks that make
up his life. This song can be seen as a parody of stadium rock concerts
in the 1970's.
Roger Waters: At the end of 'In The Flesh?' you hear somebody shouting '
Roll the sound effects', et cetera, and the sound of bombers. It gives you
some indication of what's happening. So it's a flashback. Comment:
In the Flesh is a reference to Pink Floyd's 1977 Animals tour which was
called 'Pink Floyd In The Flesh'.
Comment: The descending riff in 'In The Flesh?' came from the song 'Dunroamin,
Duncarin, Dunlivin' on 'The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking', which had been
written around the same time. Comment:
