Syd Barrett: That was from the 'I Ching'. There was someone around who was very much into that. Most of the words came straight off that.

Comment: The title is taken from the Chinese book of changes, the 'I Ching'. Chapter 24 of the book is called Fu, which means change/success. Some of the lyrics of the song are taken from this chapter.
