BRING
THE BOYS BACK HOME
Roger
Waters: For me, (this) is the central song of the whole album. It's about
not letting anything become more important than friends, wives, children,
other people... Concept:
Brought on by the fact that a war movie is on TV, Pink is reminded of the
war and his lost father. This song also represents the idea that you should
not allow outside pursuits to become more important that the people in your
life, which is the central theme of The Wall. Comment:
Background dialog: 0:52 - "Wrong! Do it again!"
0:57 - (knock,knock,knock,knock) Time to go!"(knock,knock,knock,knock)
1:03 - "Are you feeling ok?" 1:05
- There's a man answering, but he keeps hanging up!" 1:20
- "Is there anybody out there?".
