The original lyrics boasted 'I don't need your drugs to bring me down ,
down , down'. A line which was but one victim of producer Bob Ezrin's editorial
insistence. Comment:
The song begins with the sound of many television sets being turned on and
subsequently smashed . During the late 70's it was reported that Syd Barrett
had 5 television sets and often would watch two or three simultaneously
at any given time.
